Good morning/ afternoon folks
SMILE 😁 It’s Arc day!
Chantilly is live on sky sports 2 from 2:20
I’ve been looking for value throughout the race card and have decided to go with the following selections, if I talk you into any, remember to bet responsibly 😱:D👍
I feel that Pomise To Be True is the best option in the opener as the distance should bring out more improvement and is capable of going close, EW could be a good option as there are a few unexposed although I fancy it quite strong
National Defence has posted decent efforts to date and could be in the thick of things at a decent price but may have to settle for a place if the two at the head of the market improve so EW ONLY advised
So Mi Dar has been well fancied for this since being withdrawn from the Arc, hopefully this lesser race over a trip that suits can keep this filly unbeaten, Lightly raced and highly thought of, very nice pedigree, I posted this up at 6/5 via my Facebook Page recently
Hopefully a banker
After watching last year’s Arc back a numerous amount of times I’m in no doubt Found has the potential to win this year’s renewal, especially off the back of a good run last time out in Ireland, probably hit the front too soon and was beaten by a nice looking type, reversed form with Golden Horn at the breeders cup last year and remains of intrest with Moore in the saddle
My strongest fancy of the older horses but EW could be the smart option in a race that 3yo horses normally excel in
Harzand! The deul derby winning horse might want the ground a bit softer and has to bounce back from a seemingly poor run behind Found last time, but possible excuses were the trip was on the sharp side after a few months break and reports of being struck into during the race definitely didn’t help matters, Dermot Weld has trained him specifically for this since his derby heroics, EW is best
If they go off too hard he should be staying on strong, hopefully he’s well and can go close to his best and emulate last year’s winner by completing the derby arc double
Mecca’s Angel needs no introduction, this is probably her last run and wouldn’t it be nice if she could go out in style, she won in France before and after her latest run she looks set to go close at least, come on Mecca!
If there is a spanner in the works it could be the Clive Coz trained Profitable, a very smart sprinter who has beat Mecca’s Angel before and was staying on with some purpose behind her last time out when not the best of fortunes, bumped early and had way too much to do, if taking closer order today, and obviously if the ground don’t pose too much of a problem, the kirbinator could well bump up another winner, if not he can hopefully land a place
This one is screaming at me, especially at the price, broke through the stalls last time in a thrilling race to watch and wasn’t beaten far at all, the trip should be better suiting today and trainer is very clever, hopefully he gets his winner and if any of the horses in the line up can land a blow on Limato, it could well be JIMMY TWO TIMES
Go on Jimmy!
SPECTRE is the other one I like, I posted it up earlier on my Facebook Page but I’d prefer if Jimmy done the business
Jimmy Two Times-Spectre-Limato looks a good Combo fc/tc
I hope you enjoyed reading my Arc day selections
Please share if you can, it will be much appreciated.
