Saturdays horse racing selections

Saturdays horse racing selections

1:25 Newcastle
PLAGIARISM 1st
(Very well bred and yard is flying, has to be thereabouts in a weakish looking maiden, well at least i hope so. sometimes theyneed a run but im propared to take a bit of an educated gamble)

1:55 Chester
MUHADATHAT 2nd
(Seemed to benefit from 1st run when winning 2nd time out on better ground, every chance of improving again although possible improver or two in the field so market check probably needed, saying that its hard to see it out the frame)

2:00 Newmarket
DANZENO ** NB 3rd
(Has a good engine and goes into the race with a recent run under his belt over 5f,  form is solid and the step back up to 6 should do the trick, well at least I hope so)

3:05 Chester
ENLACE 1st
(good little battler won last time out, runs back over Ideal trip again so should go well, goes to Chester in very good order so another Johnson runner who could land the spoils)

3:45 Newcastle
QUEST FOR MORE *IWAC 1st

*Clever Cookie and *Seamour in a Cobination forecast.( as they are good prices) x

4:00 Newmarket
SOUND REFLECTION 1st
(Looks to be capable of a lot better on paper, very well bred and probably has’nt been seen at best yet, Intresting over this further trip)

8:30 Lingfield
SEA OF HEAVEN 2nd
(Having handicap debut for canny yard, should relish this step up in trip and im willing to forgive 3 previous medioka runs over shorter trips, intresting)

9:00 Lingfield
NIBLAWI *** NAP 3rd
(Not beaten far on 1st 4 career starts and is sure to make a bold bid over a more suitable trip, related to plenty of similar distance winners, strong fancy)

TRY SOME DOUBLES AND TREBLES ON THE ABOVE SELECTIONS…

My Irish Derby fancies are Highland Reel to at least place and Qualify to run well again.

Jack Hobbs has possibly the best form in the line up  so if improving for last run, Will be tough to beat.  although its about finding challengers and I think Qualify has strong claims of going close along with the (Unexposed over this trip) french Derby runner up Highand Reel)

possibly back em in the place market.

Best of luck…

EPSOM DOWNS, DERBY DAY Selections

Saturday’s horse racing tips….

Today is a tricky day at the office but because it’s DERBY DAY at Epsom Downs I have no option but to get lured in, I’m posting up selections I think can go well and hopefully a couple of bigger priced options that can at least hit the frame.
In some cases it might be worth doing a spread bet as there’s still plenty of value should one win.

I would like to offer my best wishes a hope you have a fun and profitable day.

Good luck to all connections…

Today’s Selections below👇

2:00 Dutch Uncle @15/2*

In the first race I’m finding it hard to have a solid fancy as there are quite a few with chances.
I’m gonna take a chance on Ed Dunlops Dutch Art Colt Dutch Uncle as he seems to be coming along nicely enough, he finished behind a couple of improving, unexposed types and had a next time out winner behind lto.
Dettori booked for yard that could do with a winner.

3:45 Perfect Muse @12/1**
Monumental Man @14/1***

In the dash I’m going in double handed as I believe they both have solid chances at landing the spoils at decent prices.
Clive coz has Seeking Magic who went close last year and is better weighted with the winner that day so has an obvious chance but it’s the stables other runner I’m intrested in, Perect Muse ran well in defete on re-appearence and could of finished closer that day with more luck In running, having run a good time lto with promising Cam Hardie booked I’m a player at double figure odds.

The other selection is the very speedy Course winner Monumental Man, his trainer Has a good record here so far and David Propert mentioned after winning on-board him in a fast time lto the dash would be an ideal race for him, 2/2 over this course and distance, solid chance.

4:30 Golden Horn ***
Giovanni Canaletto **

It’s all about trying to find the best balanced, class horse who will be  staying on all the way to the line but plenty have question marks, it’s a potential banana skin as John Gosden could hold the key here as he saddles the first two favourites in the market in Golden Horn and Jack Hobbs.

Giovanni Canaletto could pose a big threat from the in form O’Brien team, he unlike some looks bred specifically for this type of race and if coming on from his last run he could be slightly underestimated, big price option although I’d be mad not to fancy the unbeaten Gloden Horn who could have too much class and had a few of these behind in the Dante.

5:15 Montaly @12/1***
Black Shadow @10/1*

A pair of consistant selections for this 1m4f handicap,
Andrew Balding had a very day with his runners here yesterday so the fact his runner still looks potentially well treated with more improvement on the cards after a recent pipe opener on the all weather, switched back to turf there’s reason to be hopeful of a big run.

Black shadown can hopefully give his trainer a first win at the course, I was reluctant to select this one on stables stats here but sometimes them things take a turn for the better, he has some useful form in the bag and was 2nd on only start here so another who could come on for ‘re-appearence run.
Montaly would be my main selection.

5:50 Pearl Blue @8/1**
Serenity Spa @50/1*

Pearl Blue is having second start for a trainer who does well with older horses he gets he’s hands on in David O’Meera.
Ryan moore is booked and  after a promising run lto, the fact this mare gets to shed the weight albeit for a rise in class boads well for a shot at the prize money, plenty of chances in the race but intresting if top jockey could edge out a bit more to land a career best.

I’m also going bonkers with a massive outsider in this with Tom Queally doing the steering, A.Carroll has an overpriced runner in my opinion but it remains to be seen if I’m right in what I’m thinking, his runner can stay beyond the trip having won a few races up to a mile but has won over 5 and 6f also, if you forgive his last two races on softer ground he was only bfn 2ls in a class 1 at lingfield 3 runs back, he also has fair form in class 1 company on turf so turning out quickly after a poor run 4 days ago must mean the stable are optimystic of a race that could be run to suit. Long shot but you never know.
Issenist, Ashpan Sam and Swiss Cross are major contenders in a tricky sprint.

At Doncaster I have a couple of fancies

3:40 Exosphere **
Lightly raced, improving, battling type who shouldn’t just roll over. Sir Michael Stoute has great record at the course so a good run expected.

4:15 Lamps Of Heaven*
Turf debut for trainer Ollie Stephens who boasts a good strike rate here, on seasonal reappearance after 2 decent runs on the AW last year. Intresting runner in a wide open affair.
